Never Been Undertaken by a UK dentist before Chris Branfield From Castle Park Dental Care in Cottingham is to take part in an eight day charity expedition. Its mission; to teat the Berber Tribe in North East Morocco. An eight day trip from 24th September- 1 October 2010.

Castle Park Dental are a founding trustee of a brand new charity whose purpose is to dramatise the role that dentists can play in charity work needed in remote parts of the earth.

One of the group met a doctor in Morocco earlier this year who said "the Berber Tribe are in desperate need of a dentist and as an under funded doctor, I also have 50,000 people under my care and I cannot treat them all."

The first UK expedition to North East Morocco- will be stop overs in Alora (Malaga), Checchauan, (pronounced Chef Chowan), Rif Mountains, El Jebah (Morocco) and back to Puerto Banus, Marbella.

In a Berber Village by the Mediterranean Sea, the group of eight dentists will be treating both men and women whose biggest problem is gingivitis (inflammation of the gums surrounding the teeth).

Chris "Dr Smile Maker" Branfield commented "In ten years time, the day will come when the Berber Tribe, its land and its traditions will be swallowed up into mainstream society - just as the Red Indians and Aborigines did before them. But today, the privilege to experience the tribe in their natural habitat, is available to a very few."

Money is being raised by Castle Park Dental Care for supplies and materials to help the Berber Tribe and the cost of the trip are being personally met by Chris. A full presentation of their trip will be available on their web site www.castleparkdental.co.uk
